COMMUNITY GARDENS:
We have two thriving gardens: one by the entrance to the church and one at McBride Field across from Market Basket in town. These gardens both grow fresh vegetables for CUMAC. We are always looking for new volunteers, new ideas, and people who are as passionate about growing healthy food as we are! If you would like to volunteer to work in the community gardens, please contact the church office.
HIKING GROUP:
A group of folks from FLUMC who love the outdoors go on regular hikes as a way to connect with each other and with God through nature. Some hikes are on weekdays and some on weekends. Everyone is welcome! Please contact Pat Andrews (pandrews31@verizon.net) with questions or with ideas for this new group.
MINDFULNESS MEDITATION:
On the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month at 11:30 a.m. and also on Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m., the church hosts mindfulness meditation taught by Colleen Galagher. Learn guided practice for awareness, breath, simple movement and guided meditations to help regulate emotions, reduce stress and anxiety, balance the nervous system and create well being. There's now a coffee house that meets in our beautiful, historic, renovated "old" sanctuary space! On the first Friday of each month, local muscians come to share their talent.
